Red Giant (“we”, “us”) provides cooking gas cylinder pickup, filling, and delivery, plus related shop and cooker servicing, primarily in Sunyani and surrounding areas. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Red Giant, we may collect:

• Account details — name, username, email address, phone number, and password (stored in hashed form).
• Order and delivery data — delivery address or location notes, cylinder details, preferred filling station, order status, and payment method (for example mobile money or cash).
• Shop and service bookings — product or service selections, contact details for fulfilment, and related notes.
• Verification photos — images uploaded for fill checks, delivery confirmation, or catalog items, where required for the order workflow.
• Rider applications — legal name, date of birth, contact details, address, Ghana Card details and images, bike registration and licence information, emergency contact, and a passport-style photo.
• Messages — content you send through our contact form or live chat widget.
• Technical data — basic device and browser information, IP address, and session cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure the site.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process orders, payments instructions, pickups, fills, and deliveries
• Assign and coordinate riders and filling-station verification
• Fulfil shop orders and cooker service bookings
• Review employment applications for delivery riders
• Respond to support requests and improve service quality
• Send transactional emails (for example account confirmation or password recovery)
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
• Meet legal or regulatory obligations where applicable

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for unrelated third-party advertising.

4. Sharing and processors

We share information only as needed to operate the service, including with:

• Red Giant staff (managers, co-admins, sales, and assigned riders) who need it to complete your order or application
• Filling stations involved in verifying your cylinder fill for an order
• Service providers that host our website, database, email delivery, SMS (where configured), and live chat
• Payment or mobile-money partners when you choose those payment methods (they process payment details under their own policies)
• Authorities when required by law or to protect safety and rights

5. Ghana Card and sensitive documents

Rider applications may include Ghana Card numbers and images, licence details, and photos. We collect these only to verify identity and employment suitability. Access is limited to authorized reviewers. Do not submit someone else’s documents without their permission.

6. Cookies and sessions

We use essential cookies and session storage to authenticate you, protect accounts (including browser and idle session checks), and remember basic preferences such as theme. These are required for the site to work securely. Disabling cookies may prevent sign-in and some features from working.

7. Retention

We keep account, order, and verification records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet accounting or legal requirements, and improve operations. Rider application documents are retained for the review period and as needed for hiring records. You may ask us to delete or correct data where the law allows and where we do not need to keep it for legitimate business or legal reasons.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No online system is completely secure; please choose a strong password and keep your login private.

9. Your choices

You may:

• Update profile details from your account settings where available
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold
• Opt out of non-essential marketing messages (transactional messages may still be sent)
• Stop using live chat or the contact form if you prefer not to share a message that way

10. Children

Red Giant services are intended for adults who can place orders or apply for employment. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for account creation.
